Our innovative fitness program is focused on improving balance, agility, strength, and endurance (BASE), for all ages and abilities. It is designed to reduce resident fall risk, prolong independence and relieve stress. The program was developed by industry leading health, fitness and longevity experts.

FallProof™ Master Classes

This intensive, evidence-based and national award-winning program was developed by Debra J. Rose, Ph.D. The program utilizes a multidimensional approach to the treatment of balance-related problems. These classes have proven to be effective in reducing fall risk among older adults identified at moderate-to- high risk for falls.

Debra Rose, Phd.
FallProof™ Master Classes

Dr. Debra Rose of FallProof is the Director of the Center for Successful Aging at California State University, Fullerton and a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology.  Dr. Rose has considerable experience working with older adults with balance and mobility impairments.  She is widely published in the areas of motor control and balance research, and is a frequent speaker in the areas of fall-risk reduction, balance and mobility.

Stacy McCarthy
Meditations for Emotional Freedom

Stacy McCarthy holds a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and has over 25 years of teaching experience. She is a highly requested presenter at some of the yoga and fitness industries most renowned conferences and conventions and was a finalist for “Instructor of the Year” at IDEA. She was inducted into the Yoga Alliance at its highest level and is the Yoga Director for Yoga School of Business. Stacy is a Professor of Yoga and faculty member at Miracosta College Kinesiology, Health and Nutrition Program.

Sue Grant
Senior Fitness Specialist

Sue Grant is a master instructor for FallProof, an internationally recognized balance and mobility training program for older adults. She holds several advanced and specialized certifications, including ACE’s senior fitness specialty certification, and the designation as a Fellow of Applied Functional Science® with Gray Institute. Sue also holds a professional certificate in fitness instruction and exercise science from UC San Diego, specializing in both personal training and group fitness instruction. Sue is passionate about helping older adults stay fit and active at any age!

Lawrence Biscontini, MA, has made fitness history as a Mindful Movement Specialist as the first recipient of multiple awards from ACE, IDEA & Inner IDEA, Can Fit Pro, and ECA. Fitness Magazine named Lawrence one of the Top Ten USA Trainers in 2003. Lawrence serves on both IDEA Group Fitness & Steering Committees, Fitness Advisory Board for Fitness Magazine, and Faculty Advisory Board for the American Council on Exercise.

Gloria Peyrat
Zen Fitness Instructor

Gloria Peyrat is certified with the American Senior Fitness Association as a Senior Personal Fitness Trainer, Jazzercise, Let it Go Yoga, Basic Yoga, Arthritis Association (PACE), National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Parkinsons Association. She has trained seniors personally and in groups for 15 years, in all ranges of ability (from very active to very frail).

“As a senior myself, I am very aware of the needs of people exercising with personal limitations and modifying according to their physical condition. My greatest satisfaction is seeing seniors enjoying exercise and benefitting from the physical, mental and emotional effects. Tracey Mallet
International Fitness Star

Tracey Mallett is an international fitness and wellness expert, dancer, choreographer and master pilates instructor.She’s also a certified personal trainer and a group fitness instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of American (AFAA), as well as a Certified Sports Nutritionist with the National Association of Sports Nutrition (NASN), a BASI Certified Pilates Instructor, Pilates Method Alliance and a Level 1 Gyrotonic Instructor. Tracy is also a fitness advisor for Golds Gym and works as a guest fitness host for ShopNBC.

Ana Caban is a certified Pilates instructor who studied at The Pilates Studio of New York City (School of Joseph Pilates), where she earned her Wellness Coach
 Pilates Certification from Romana Kryzanowska. 
Ana is also an International Fitness Presenter for IDEA Health and a Wellness 
Certified Peak Pilates Educator and Spencer Institute
 Certified. She and her videos have been featured in many media outlets, including CBS News, Weight Watchers Magazine, The Los Angeles Daily News and The Miami Herald. In addition to creating innovative classes for Spiro100, she teaches Pilates at several studios in Los Angeles.

David Weck is inventor of the BOSU Balance Trainer, CoreFIS (Fascially Integrated Strength). He has trained the U.S. Olympic Ski Team, the New York Yankees, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Baltimore Ravens and the New Jersey Devils. He has been a personal trainer for over twenty years and is NSCA/CSCS certified.
